• Used when connecting base stations to UP0/E of the OSBiz X1/X3/X5. 

 The following connection conditions apply to the connection of base stations to an SLU8 module for OpenScape Business X3/X5 only: 

• A total of up to 15 base stations (7 on the motherboard and another 8 on a SLU8 assembly) can be operated. The max. number of connectable DEC T telephones remains unchanged at 32. 
   
• Only one SLU8 module can be used for the connection of base stations.
    
• The UP0/E interfaces of the SLU8 module can be connected mixed with base stations or telephones.
   
• With an additionally installed CMA or CMAe module, up to 4 simultaneous calls can be made per base station.
